Integrative Talking Therapy
At some point, most people face difficulties or challenges in life. Setbacks and suffering are part of the human experience. I am here to offer you a safe, warm, and accepting environment where you can openly discuss your concerns. Together, we can explore your experiences, helping you make sense of life's challenges and develop greater self-awareness.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw on various therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs, combining techniques from different modalities to create a tailored experience. Integrative therapy focuses on the whole person, mind, body, and emotions, providing a holistic approach to exploring your concerns and finding solutions that work for you. I believe that combining these techniques with my own life experiences creates a unique space for reflection. This space is intuitive, allowing you to examine your situation with openness, gaining trust in your ability to face future challenges.
Our sessions can take place in a private room or, if you prefer, we can go to beaches, the moors, or woodland to walk and talk instead.
Regardless of location, during our sessions, you’ll have the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. My approach is person-centred, so I won’t give advice or directives unless you specifically request it. My aim is to work alongside you, helping you to discover your own path at your own pace. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and our work together remains flexible to suit your individual needs.
I am particularly passionate about supporting people who have experienced childhood or young adult trauma, PTSD, anxiety, abuse, or difficult family dynamics. My professional training, combined with my own personal journey, equips me to help others find clarity and peace in their lives.
To begin, I offer a free 30-minute meeting to discuss your goals and explore how we might work together in a way that best suits you. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to connect, and everything shared will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect for your privacy and that of others.
My Wider Mental Health Work
Alongside my one-to-one therapeutic work, I also serve as the Truro City Chair for the G100 Mental Health Wing (UK), a global network of women leaders committed to advancing wellbeing, equality, and compassionate mental health advocacy.
I have also delivered online wellbeing workshops and group coaching with Practical Wisdom and the NHS through the Waiting Well programme, supporting adults awaiting ADHD and autism assessments. This experience has further strengthened my trauma-aware approach and my commitment to making mental health support accessible, supportive, and grounded in emotional safety.
